Dr. Bhaskar Bhuyan is an Assamese scholar, writer, editor, and academic administrator with specialization in Assamese epistle literature and Comparative Indian Literature. He holds a Ph.D. from Gauhati University and is currently serving as Regional Director, Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU), Lakhimpur. He is the author of two significant books—Internetot Asomiya Bhasha Aru Annyanya Prabandha (2022) and Tulanatmak Sahitya: Prayogik Chintan (2025)—and has edited several scholarly volumes. Since 2018, he has been actively engaged with Wikimedia projects to enrich and strengthen the presence of the Assamese language in the digital domain. He is presently serving as the Chief Editor of Asomiya Sahitya Sanmilani and is a recipient of the Yuva Lekhak Sanman (2025).
